A bit about me & what I do

My name's Michael Statham, but generally I'm known as Mick (and even on occasion, Micky, but don't tell anyone), and I'm a U.K. based printmaker. To be a little more specific I'm a screen printer. More often than not, my work shows a preference for typographic elements and patterned structure, executed in a minimal pallet of two or three colours. As well as creating screenprints I also produce the odd illustration and design and build the occasional web site. All screen prints are printed on acid free paper of varying weights (usually 150gm to 300gm) using eco friendly inks and printing techniques. I use Photoshop and Illustrator to varying degrees as well as hand rendering to create my images. Each print is signed (and numbered in the case of edition prints). And I seem to favour black and yellow colour schemes.

When it comes to web design I try to keep the 'design' to a minimum by employing a clean minimal layout to deliver the clients information.
